Founder - Andy Schell
Founded by Andy Schell who is an Entrepreneur at heart that has built several companies from the ground up. He is a hard working philanthropist and business person, dedicated to helping others, by encouraging sound decisions that promote positive outcomes. Keeping faith in God and having Love and Respect for his family, others and their beliefs are his guiding principles.
Schell had a career contracting for the Federal Government that started in 2000; specifically the Department of Defense. As founder and CEO of his Design Build company, he designed and built over 100 million dollars worth of projects for the U.S. Military. After selling his company in 2014, he served as a Chief Strategy Officer and President for a privately held company. He ran M&A (mergers & acquisitions) and helped the company raise 43 Million USD in private equity while strategically taking the company public on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
Simultaneously, Schell developed over 200 lots at no profit for low-income housing for the Kitsap County Housing Authority over the course of 15 years. This self-help program provided first time housing for many single parent families or starter families and gave them a unique opportunity to own a place they could call home.
Schell has always had a heart for youth programs. He was one of the original people involved with Backpack for Kids in Kitsap County where he helped to fund 265 backpacks a week with non perishable food for 11 different schools. These backpacks supplied a family of 4 with extra food for the weekend in hopes the Student would return to school on Monday morning and not be malnourished, be rested, and ready to focus and learn.
Fast forward to 2020, COVID brought on many challenges for the entire globe, and the sport communities in Washington State were severely affected. Football was essentially shutdown for the fall of 2020 with NO HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL BEING PLAYED. Schell responded to this by forming Washington States FIRST Club High School Tackle Football Team, the HEIR-Eagles. Through his connections with ex-NFL superstar, Deon Sanders, an All-Star game was arranged in Texas. This would be coined the TCAL (Texas Christian Athletic League) National Championship in which Schell's team lost to Trinity Christian, 59-28. The experience that was provided for over 60 Student Athletes was immense and one that will never be forgotten by many of the players. This opportunity for the Student Athletes involved, produced many Athletic Scholarships. Enticed by this outcome, Schell knew that he really wanted to help Student Athletes to get into College. The Schell Foundation has helped this dream come true. We believe that by educating oneself, you can have a deeper understanding of life, and have a greater impact on society as a whole.
Well versed in many facets of business; his strengths are in Investing, Business Operations, M&A, Finance, Federal Contracting, and Real Estate Development.
